          What is covered by copyright?
          The kinds of works covered by copyright include: literary works such as novels, poems, plays, reference works, newspapers and computer programs; databases; films, musical compositions, and choreography; artistic works such as paintings, drawings, photographs and sculpture; architecture; and advertisements, maps and technical drawings.
          The author possesses exclusive rights to use of product and to protection against entering into it of changes (the right to inviolability of product).
          In some cases free use of product - for example, in the scientific or educational purposes, with the obligatory instruction of name of the author and source of loan is supposed

          How to get protection?
          For occurrence of the copyright it is not required to registration of product or observance of other formalities. The copyright starts to operate from the moment of giving to product of the objective form accessible to perception by the third parties, irrespective of its appearance. The copyright to oral product operates from the moment of its announcement to the third parties.
          It is necessary to pay attention that the copyright protects the form of expression of ideas, but not ideas. For example, someone has published the clause about how to construct essentially new flying device in the technical journal. If the author of clause has not patented this invention, other person can use its ideas for creation of such device.

          Terms of validity of copyright
          Copyright operates during all life of the author and fifty years after his death, beginning from January, first of the year following after year of death of the author.
          After termination validity of the copyright to product it becomes public property.
          The authorship, name of the author and inviolability of product are protected is termless. These rights are the personal non-property rights that never can be transferred. They are always kept for the initial author of product.

          RELATED RIGHTS

          The related rights extend on play, performance, records of performance, and broadcasting. The right to performance belongs to performers - actors, directors - producers, conductors, and their successors. The right of use of such performance can pass to other assignees. broadcast

          The right to translation belongs to the broadcasting organization, which have created broadcast, or its assignees.
